“Fan is great but it did take a few minutes to figure out how to attach it to the RPi. The instructions are diagrammatic and to my eyes, it was not entirely clear what orientation of the fan would allow it to be fitted as intended.
Once you get the orientation right, the fan simply clicks into place.”
“No instructions, just pictures on the box took a little time to work out how to fit the fan. Then a Google search to setup temperature control on the Raspberry. The fan itself is really quite noisy with a high pitch whine. I’m glad I don’t plan to use it in the same room as me.”
“The fan, heat sink and mount are good and easy to install. The issue is that the fan is very loud. I use the Pi as a media server in my TV Cabinet and it is far too loud for this. I had to remove it, but I kept the heat sink installed”
