“Though I've been too busy to tinker properly with it I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to set up from downloading the OS to burning the image to SD card (a supplied card is in the kit but I'd bought a much bigger 128gb card to future proof me for a while).”
“It's a pretty cool computer, I actually bought it for my mum who likes Raspian as an OS. It comes pre-configured if you buy the full kit and not the stand alone Pi 400. My mum's sight isn't the best and she can actually see the letters and numbers on they keyboard without her glasses. Great machine at a great price :D”
“Our order was processed, shipped quickly and arrived only a couple of days after ordering. It was a gift for our son who has just started learning to code; he was delighted with the computer.”
“Very good, but don't expect to be a perfect replacement for a pc. You will need to know how to tinker and Google basic it problems, i.e. getting a wireless mouse to work requires writing basis commands but still not plug and play. Also the micro HDMI ports, great that there are two but would have preferred one full hdmi as the micro hdmis feel like they will break at any moment . In fact all ports on this thing have a kind of "will break at the slightest provocation" feel to them.”
“Nostalgia meets ergonomic modern design. Pretty to show off and functional to come hone to after a long day. Endless options packed into a pretty package.”
“My first venture into raspberry pi computing. Very neat unit, keybiard feels quite solid. Impressed with how easy it was to set up and configure printer and webcam. Slightly disappointed at the lack of an audio out separate from the hdmi. Overall good value. 14 year old angling to get one for himself....”
“Great buy. Use this on my tv so my kids can do their schooling. I also use it myself to develop for standalone pi 4 around my house (homebridge et al). Fast enough for general work and includes everything I need. My only gripe is that the keyboard responsiveness could be better .”
