“Very easy and handy way to add a lot of sensors to the raspberry pi, and to use as a learning tool. The ample documentation for Scratch and python gives a lot of handles to teach my children about computers, and it is fun too!”
“Very good, the LEDs are bright and the python library provided is very beginner friendly. It took me only 5mins or so to get the hang of it. The sensors are useful for compact projects that require them and the although the 5 way joystick is very small and can be hard to use for precision input, it is a convenient way to have an input method attached straight to the pi itself. The only downside of the Sense HAT is that all the GPIO pins are in use but with all the capabilities it has, I doubt this will be a problem for most.”
