“This is the third one I've bought.
The Pi4 has gone beyond being a hobbyist curio, and is a fully functional computer in it's own right. We have laptops at work with worse specs than this.
It has some downsides though:
It gets hot. I heartily recommend a full body heatsink, such as https://thepihut.com/collections/raspberry-pi-cases/products/aluminium-armour-heatsink-case-for-raspberry-pi-4 or https://thepihut.com/collections/raspberry-pi-cases/products/argon-one-raspberry-pi-4-case
Other heatsinks/cases exist, but these are the ones I have direct experience of.
The video outputs are microHDMI, so you'll need to get cables/adapters. Notice the plural - you can run a dual screen setup.
There's also a quirk when using higher resolution monitors (I have a 2560x1440 monitor) in that it won't boot if my mouse and keyboard are plugged in at the same time. There may be some tweaks in the /boot/config.txt that would make it work, but as it is, I just plug in the mouse and keyboard after it's booted up.
The upsides though...
It's fast, it's powerful, it's flexible. I have friends who've ditched their work issued PC, and use one of these instead.
You won't regret getting one of these.”
“I have not yet used my raspberry pi 4 yet despite receiving it from The pi hut as I brought a low profile cooler from Amazon the delivery did not turn up and Amazon said I can't get a refund until 5th May 2020 yes Amazon said I can't get a refund until way past a month. So I need to wait for my money back then order another cooler”
