“A great machine, only problem I'm having is I am unable to connect to it via FileZilla, I keep getting a "authentication failed" message. This is probably an easy fix for those that know what they're doing. Otherwise I experience no input lag and it runs most emulators smoothly with no issues.”
“It is great - with only one caveat! Unlike the pi3 which you can attach a powered USB hub to without any issues on reboot.
The pi4 has a major flaw with its usb2 and Usb3 ports, in that if you attach a powered USB Hub and attempt to reboot - the pi4 will hang when trying to boot-up. When you unplug the powered USB hub from the pi4 - it will then continue to boot up!”
“Just got my first Pi4 (4gb) and after a few days with it I'm just amazed how good it performs! I'm an AV technician used to using Adobe creative suite with high end Macs but the Pi is way more fun and performs much better than I expected with video and audio (I did buy heatsink enclosure case) never getting above 50 degrees when editing basic videos. Having used used Ubuntu in the past the new Rasbian GIU is very simple and easy to use and i have loaded all the programmes I need to use it as a simple desktop at home.”
“The Argon one is an excellent case for heat dissipation.
However the lack of access to the camera connector may be a draw back for some applications involving image capturing or social networking.”
