“With 8GB RAM, a USB 3.0 to SATA III SSD adapter for rootfs, now the RPI can really be used for serious day-to-day general work. Don't get me wrong, I've had every RPI since day 1, and they have all proven useful for something, but until the RPI4 and especially the 8GB RAM version, the RPI was just too weak to compete with even a low end PC, now with 8GB, low end PCs have real competition especially in education, and kiosk settings. The price is really good considering what you get :-) :-)”
