Bought it for use as a small Plex server. I was streaming my media through an old full sized tower i3 PC that took up too much space in my house.
Installing and setting up my plex server through ubuntu on this Pi model has been the best decision I have made for my home streaming. Not only has it allowed me to get rid of a big clunky box sitting in the corner of my room, it streams my media much more efficiently, with less buffering and uses far less power.
Not only is the Raspberry Pi great, my purchase clean and ease due to a no fuss website. My Pi was even sent same day and arrived very swiftly all while beating the prices of other sites.
