“It is much powerful than the 4gb that I got few months ago. Still it is not a replacement for a desktop. However, I installed Kali Linux and I am able to perform pen testing”
“Having bought many Pi’s over the years. The latest is quicker, more memory and works great as a computer running a screen as my flight sim instrument panels linking into the pc running the flight sim software., very happy with it.”
“The 8gb is a beast. So versatile, use them for libreelec media centers and k3s nodes in clusters; never had any issues with pi-hut. They're the"goto" imo.”
“Great little computer with a lot of potential.
I have several Pi 4s using them for IoT, cryptographic development, ad blocking and just as a power efficient desktop computer for light productivity, email and web browsing.
Great value and incredibly flexible, and highly recommended for kids of all ages.”
“An amazing little computer. This Pi4B with 8GB and a capable processor is going into a cluster, once I've figured out how to make the right kind of cluster. The cluster will be my home server and will grow as I add more. First I would like to build cloud storage for my family, so the versatility of the Pi4 makes it ideal, low cost and I'll be using Network Chuck to guide me through the process. Fingers crossed. If I can't figure out the cluster, it will become a retro gaming console for someone.”
