“Use this for home automation and it's a lot faster than my old Pi. The increased memory means fewer SD card writes too. Amazing little unit.”

“OK so these are expensive now but they are still great bits of kit. 8gb is potentially overkill for som applications but given that I have no idea how I may repurpose the unit in the future, was well worth the extra beer and a half of £££ over the alternative 4gb model. Runs Pi-designed GUI-based OS's with ease.”

“I use it for running docker containers at home. Does everything from home automation to pihole to internet radio streaming with almost no power consumption. for 24/7 application I recommend heatsink/fan.”
