“This is the first PI I have purchased and I was not disappointed. I purchased as a solution to display menus in a restaurant and it does just what I need (after configuration). It was very easy to set up and get working and I will certainly recommend to others. It can even be powered by the TV.”
“Purchased as upgrade for my LibreElec Kodi machine, that stuttered at HVEC videos. Worked more than fine for about 24 hours, then kind of hangs. Reboot no use, starts uop and hangs hakfway during boot. Remembered reading about heat problems, and indeed, it felt pretty hot to touch.
Am awaiting Ice Tower and Fan Shim to solve the problems, in the menatime using an old i-3 system to watch tv and films with kodi.
Hope either the fan or the tower will fix the problems, beacaus apart from the heating it is by far the best home theatre combination”
“This pi clearly has masses of potential. I love the USB 3 speed and the networking. So far, having trouble finding an OS other than Raspian that will work on it. Also short of case options at the moment. I'm sure those issues will be resolved soon.
I "adjusted" a 3B+ case, works fine.”
“At this moment i'am a little bit dissapointed, not the hardware but the software is not fully ready to support this board. Mayby it needs more time for developping.
I was to plan to use pi 4 for sdr-radio (expecting better performance) but for now i still use the pi 3b+ .
After installing all the updates the device runs slower en the chrome browser gives bad audio when i use websdr.
So at this moment i have to wait for updates”
