“USB3 not working with my SSD. RaspPi forum fix doesn't work for my adaptor. I have to use USB2. I bought the Pi4 fpr a file server so I am very disappointed.”
“I've had concerns that my Pi 3B might run into memory issues with the software I'm running on it - the 2Gb & 4Gb options take that away. I have a Pi running backups via rsync - middle of the night so speed not a major issue but USB3 nice to have ... and when I can boot from USB3 that will remove concerns about the delicacy of the SD card (although I have had no problems to date).”
“With the limitations of power supplies Vs the previous models which could run from virtually any USB plug.... It's a disappointment. This product is overall messed up. It runs very hot too, even when running very simple tasks. Not fit for purpose. I am sure the next revision will be great, but stay away from rev one, and get a pi 3 instead”
