“Excellent piece of kit. I use it for a simple home automation system. It's connected to a USB camera that I can view remotely, a few relays that control lights and a temperature and humidity sensor. I run it headless via SSH so I had to set it up to email me whenever its IP has changed (I had it bypass the router). I also receive full reports once a day. The next step will be to get it to control the heating and to hook it up to Openhab. Pi Zero is so incredibly versatile and has huge resources database online. I also own RPi 2 which is used as a media center, a gaming console and a PC. It runs off my TV USB 5v and is controlled by a wireless keyboard. My laptop on the other hand is gathering dust...”
“Basically bought a pi zero to follow a gaming build I seen on reddit. Ordered from Pi Hut for the measly sum of £4, best £4 ever spent. Followed the guide I was using and was up and running in an hour and with the size of the pi it was easy to forget I just built a tiny computer.
The Pi Hut made all this way too easy with cheap prices and fast delivery.”
