“Unfortunately my pi Zero decided it wouldn't work as it should. I've tried everything I could, but it didn't help.
After that I decided to contact the Pi Hut, but as I've seen so far, they're not very helpful with solving the problem. Answers take long and are not helping solving the problem unfortunately.
Now I'm stuck with a Pi that doesn't work as it should and I really would love to have one that works and hope that the pi Hut still wants to help me.”
“Having got my hands on a pi zero, a pre-loaded micro sd chip with Noobs, the essentials zero kit and a wifi fob it was an interesting challenge to fire it up. Not being an expert and having no wired internet connection the main difficulty seemed to be how to initialise the wifi since this did not load up at the outset. By following various internet search leads I got it all working, not difficult, but it would have been easier if somebody had created a simple set of instructions. So no problems at all with this super bit of kit, great learning challenges and no doubt hours of fun to get it doing something useful. One tip - buy a low cost 4 port powered hub and use one of the ports as a power supply - saves the cost of a dedicated PSU and keeps the mains wiring simple. The other three ports then do wifi, mouse and keyboard during the initial setup until remote control is set up to take over. I think this may be the ideal device for running pywws and a USB weather station - but it needs 2 USB ports. There are ways to add these ports with articles on the internet.”
