While on the connectivity side it is a lot more basic, it means it is less wasteful of both power and space. If you need Ethernet for instance, you can get an ENC28J60 Breakout board and connect it via SPI for example. This means that you are a lot more in control of the hardware, as it starts off very minimally. The specs are not bad, especially for an embedded project, would be enough for some desktop-like use but its not geared directly for that. It is tiny, I can fit 5 of them sideways along the length of my hand! For £4, you cannot go wrong. Do note that the kits that it comes in are more than useful, without having a set of the adapters, you will struggle to even begin using it. No complaints (except stocking!!!!, I'd happily buy 16/32 of them to build a cluster!!)

I destroyed my Pi 2 (which was tracking planes with an RTL-SDR) with a bad power supply but didn't have the money to replace it. Managed to get a PiZero ordered. I used the old micro SD and it was all working again with no changes needed, very exciting! Turns out there was no need for a quad core so it runs the same as before.

I managed to get my hands on this pi on the second round of stock after the magpi original release. Cool little board, it does take a little bit of setting up and require a few bits to get it up and running. Mainly a usb hub to connect your keyboard, mouse, etc. Once I had it all set up I only need to wifi dongle to SSH into it and run it. Just a heads up for new people to the Pi this board is a little bit more limited than the Pi2 primarily because you can't easily connect parts you have lying around due to the lack of ports. But so long as you are willing to put the time in it is a great piece of kit!! Please don't let that put you off it was more an FYI than anything else! :D

The Raspberry Pi zero really is an amazing little piece of technology! Setting it up for remote access can be a challenge considering you only have 1 usb port (a usb hub can work), but next to that, it's amazing, and tiny!!!

I found your product outstanding, both related to the price and the number of possible projects it can support. I am for sure going to use it for wireless control applications connecting an USB Wi-Fi dongle attached.
