“Currently my Pi Zero is running as a mini Linux server at a friend's house acting as an OpenVPN server/client and IPv6 tunnel endpoint and IPv6 router on their LAN (using a USB 10/100Mbps wired ethernet adapter). I've also tried OpenElec 6.0.1 on it and it played 720p MKV and MP4 files flawlessly (scaled to 1080p output) with CPU peaks up to around 50% (mostly hovering around 35% when playing, 20% stopped) and peak CPU temperature around 46 degC.
I'm now planning on picking up a second one of these to replace my own OpenElec server so that I can free up the underused RasPi 2 model B currently performing this role for better uses elsewhere. Hopefully supplies will get a little better soon and it'll stop being such a mad rush each time a new batch is released!”
