“First thing I did when I got it was to throw in a micro sd from another Pi, and booted it, a few seconds later it was running.
Do remember that they only have one usb port so they won't work as a direct drop in replacement for larger Pi-s. They are however amazing for embedded applications. I'd recommend using a full size pi during development, once you're all setup switch out the card and you're off! Might even save you needing micro usb/hdmi -> full size adaptors.”
