“I was very excited to receive my new Pi zero. So cheap, so small, so capable. I quickly unboxed it, burnt an OS on a new micro sd card and swapped over all the hardware from my Pi 2 model B ........ and it did't work. Something stalled during the installation process. So I double checked all the cables, the installation on the sd card. Cables and card were all fine so I guessed the problem must be this usb hub: https://thepihut.com/products/7-port-usb-hub-for-the-raspberry-pi so I swapped the PiHut recommended hub for one of these Cerulian hubs: https://www.maplin.co.uk/p/cerulian-7-port-usb-20-mains-powered-triangular-desktop-hub-n11jb And when I connected it all up; everything worked fine.
