“I decided to go with the Pi 4 starter kit as it had everything I needed. The setup process was a breeze and after an OS update that took about 15 minutes I was up and running. My intention was to use this Pi for home automation and monitoring, so I bought a 64GB app class 2 micro SD and loaded it with the appropriate OS and software. It has been running for a couple of days now without any issues.
I was so impressed with the standard Pi desktop, features and functions that I will buy another Pi4, case and power supply to teach myself (and the grandchildren) programming and building projects. I recommend "The Official Raspberry Pi Beginner's Guide" book as it has lots of projects to try.”
