As someone who wants GPIO pins on a Raspberry Pi Zero but cant justify buying and learning to solder for one job this is perfect, its simple to install and I've had no issues yet at all. I'm sure it is not as permanent as soldering but as the header i needed the pins for was attached once and is now permanently attached to my Zero, as it works what does it matter? An excellent idea and well conceived product.

The Hammer header saved me lots of time and is quite easy to use. Just some small "taps" with a hammer along its length and the solder less header is in place. If you don't want or don't care to hone your soldering skill to the next level I recommend it!

I don't have the most steady hands, and wanted to give my children Raspberry Pi Zero's as educational gifts. My lack of soldering experience would likely render the Raspberry Pi's inoperable. Fortunately, I found these! The headers are relatively low cost, and (with the installation jig) easy to install. We've installed five headers on the Raspberry Pi Zeros with no issues. It was so easy that my eight year old installed the headers onto his own Raspberry Pi.

I'm not one for soldering so this was a godsend. Although I wasn't able to use the jig for my pHAT it worked out just fine. Will buy more :)

Nice piece of kit if you arent very good at soldering. It was a bit fidley to get it all lined up, but then a few taps with the hammer and then all done. Just make sure you hammer across evenly to get all the pins in correctly. Saves time soldering.

This made attaching the xmas tree to the Pi a hell of a lot simpler! The online instructions were great too!
