“Everything is there ready, the installation requires firm rubber hammer, Hit at slow pace better to ensure that you are getting the pins flat.
If these are available, I will never solder a GPIO again.”
“The idea is great and I also bought the fixing guide kit. The fixing guide only lasted one use that worked well. But the very thin support on the back plate broke. So second use the header twisted. Hammer head good idea need a more robust guide kit”
“I'm on my 3rd Hammer Header. I'm pretty sure the first one came without the nylon screws, so I used my own. You have to be patient 'hitting' the header down, I broke the protector on the first two. On my 3rd and best attempt, I used my fingers to press the header the final millimetre to make it nice and level. Leaves as professional looking finish once it's in though and not appreciably more expensive than soldering.”
“As someone with dodgy hands I really shouldn't go near a soldering iron but this little gadget proved a simple and effective alternative. Highly recommended!”
