As I could use a "monkey wrench", the application of the header was easy and smooth. A little joke aside: here in German the "monkey wrench" is called "Englaender" (= "englishman"), so an "englishman" helped to mount the header on the board. Very nice ... and really easy to implement with that tool! No hammer needed!

I am not very good at soldering but I can use a hammer! Very quick and the pins make a good electrical contact. I will be buying more headers.

Does what it says on the tin. Currently building the Edukit #3 using a Pi Zero replete with the hammered on header. All the ports I've tested work like a dream. Once done I can now just get more of these headers without the need to get the perspex guide as that bit is re-usable. It's ridiculously easy to use them.

The great think about this approach is no burnt fingers and the assuring you've actual made a connection. Whilst I've soldered for years this non-solder approach is much quicker and a doddle to do with the excellent jig supplied.

This is a great piece of kit. So easy to use a novice like me had no trouble. Makes putting a male header on a Pi Zero a piece of cake!

What is normally a fiddly, time-consuming (although rewarding) process becomes an absolute pain when you have multiple headers to fit. I had 4 to do.The jig just gets rid of the problem - watch the video to see how it works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VDJ2-feg2lk

Parfait petit accessoire, qui sécurise vraiment ce montage à coup de marteau.
