“As I could use a "monkey wrench", the application of the header was easy and smooth. A little joke aside: here in German the "monkey wrench" is called "Englaender" (= "englishman"), so an "englishman" helped to mount the header on the board. Very nice ... and really easy to implement with that tool! No hammer needed!”
“Does what it says on the tin. Currently building the Edukit #3 using a Pi Zero replete with the hammered on header. All the ports I've tested work like a dream. Once done I can now just get more of these headers without the need to get the perspex guide as that bit is re-usable. It's ridiculously easy to use them.”
“The great think about this approach is no burnt fingers and the assuring you've actual made a connection. Whilst I've soldered for years this non-solder approach is much quicker and a doddle to do with the excellent jig supplied.”
