“My 7 yr old son and I didn't get to start working on it until Christmas Eve, but he says he loves it. He's still learning his keyboarding skills, so he focuses more on the hardware and then watches me write and explain how the code works, and offers suggestions for how to tinker with the code.
The only problem so far, and why I rated it 4 instead of 5, is that when we got to box 4 the day after Christmas, it didn't have the right parts in it. It had the same parts in it as box 10. Since the pi hit closes down for a holiday break, we have to wait until after my son is back to school to get it sorted out and to finish it, which is a little disappointing, but also what my son insists on doing rather than skipping ahead to do other days that don't rely on the potentiometer.”
