If you want to use it with the Meshtastic app on your phone it works great like that too. Small and convenient so easy to carry. Just a note charged it off the pc as it likes a slow charge. Awesome little device and the Pi Hut website was so simple to use to order it.”

I've had this working with Meshtastic (as pre-installed) but had less success after flashing with Meshcore (probably due to sitting in the black hole called Shropshire), it's obviously early days for Meshcore.
Pictured with the charging puck and snaphook (also available from PiHut) which I highly recommend.
Make sure to buy this version rather than the LoraWan version if you want to use Meshtastic/Meshcore.”

“I got this to try as a dog tracker. The device itself lives up to its reputation. It seems well built and I get nearly a day and a half out of it when being used as a tracker sending its position as often as possible.
I am still unsure if meshtastic fits the bill for this use case. However, the device itself is sound.”
