This is a really nice metal case that houses both the Pi 5 and an NVMe card. Better still, there is the option to add a DAC that outputs sound via a standard 3.5mm jack socket. As with other Argon ONE cases, there is a useful power switch (customise its function using the internal jumper) and a magnetic cover for the input/output pins. Ordering and delivery were very straightforward, as always from The PiHut.

Very good designed case for raspberry pi 5. Keeps temperature down, allows full HDMI connection saving of microHDMi to HDMI adapters. Overall very pleased with it.

This is possibly the best desktop-style case you can buy. It cools the system well, has a great layout, and has killer features. I would give 4.5 stars if I could because my only complaint is that I wish the cooling contacts also could come into contact with the RAM and not just the processor and power source. You can, however, add smaller heatsinks to the other components and the active cooling fan will cool those as well.

Having used the previous Argon One case with a Raspberry Pi 4 for some years and really loved it, I had been looking forward to the V3 model to use with my new Raspberry Pi 5. Before starting the installation, I had read the instruction manual carefully and had also sought out some videos on YouTube. People had commented in their reviews that the PCIe cable is quite tricky to insert and takes the manual dexterity of a magician, which I found to be something of an understatement. Also, the cable on the Argon One NVME board is held in place by a black plastic clamp that needs to be pulled back to insert the cable and then pushed back in place to hold the cable end. Although I was very careful when easing this out , the plastic is quite delicate and thin; consequently, one of the sides broke in the process, with the result that it would not stay in place and so the cable would not hold. Consequently, I now had an Argon One that I could not boot from NVME, which was the main reason for my purchase of this model. I nevertheless persevered with the case, instead using a USB drive to boot. Although that worked well for a few weeks, when I recently disconnected the case from its power supply to relocate it, I found that on re-attaching the power supply the case would not now boot at all. Consequently, I'm now looking at replacement options. All in all, I'm disappointed. The case looks and feels amazing but installation of the NVMEE board is tricky, and the power supply to the Pi also seems somewhat temperamental, so from a practical point of view this is the first Pi purchase that I've regretted.

WOW! This little case is amazing. It has a daughter board that converts the micro HDMI ports to full size and brings them to the back of the case with a power switch and the Pi's USB ports. The whole case acts as a heat sink, but there is also an active cooling fan also. Adding an NVME SSD is very easy and the whole package is ready to become a great PiOS desktop computer.
