This module surprisingly does not work well with Ubuntu on raspberry PI. At first, it didn’t work out of the box, I had to adjust my network settings. The bigger problem was that this adapter would just stop working after some idle time, so my PI would get cut off the network completely and the only thing that helped after that was reboot. After reboot the connection is good but as soon as I leave my PI for some time, the adapter dies again. I tried all sorts of fixes: turning power mode off, modifying current on usb3 output, etc In the end I had to remove it completely because native PI’s WiFi module is more stable lol.

Bought this dual band wifi dongle to replace one that had died. It works really well on an older pi b+ v1.2 that I use as an mpd server, range and performance is great.

After trying several other USB WiFi adapters that didn’t work reliably, this device from Pi Hut worked perfectly on my RPi5. No drivers needed and flawless operation.

Got it working with RaspAP. No luck with openWRT. If anyone knows which openWRT drivers I’m missing let me know. Cheers !

Although I'd prefer a Wi-Fi 7 module, my main priority was having something that works with Linux out of the box, without needing to faff around with compiling things. Speeds could be a bit better but I'll take them over no Wi-Fi at all. I hope they release a natively supported Wi-Fi 7 one soon, so I can snap that one up as well

It's great. I have a couple of Dell opiplex Micros with no WiFi adapter. Haven't checked out the speed but streaming TV/ YouTube and downloading is working as expected.

Very easy to use. Plug and play. Allowed me to use 5GHz on a Raspberry Pi 3B
