Seems very good so far. Much more substantial case and heatsink than the standard pi 4 I had been using previously, I feel much more confident placing this in the cupboard along with the router, switches and other bits of infrastructure as a long term solution.

I plugged it in and works straight out of the box. I like the quality fanless heat sink design on the base, this gives me the confidence to leave it on 24/7 which is needed for a home assistant to work!!.. packaging was simple and well designed.

I had been running home assistant for a while in a docker container on my laptop, while that worked it was a pain as I needed to keep my laptop running 24/7. When looking for alternative approaches I had considered a raspberry pi, however when browsing I spotted the home assistant green. I decided to go for it and it has been a great experience. I've been able to integrate all of my homes smart devices into it. I did need to purchase a separate zigbee dongle for it which was a shame, I would have been happy to pay a little more for one that included it. Other than that it was dead easy to set up, literally just power and ethernet and away it goes. I've had it running for a week now and haven't had a single issue with it. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone getting started with home assistant.

Very happy with the item. Steep learning curve but I think it's going to be fun.

I waited a few weeks for my HAGreen to become available but the wait was certainly worthwhile. A very well made bit of kit that is now reporting on all of my IOT devices around the home. Just got to start doing some automated routines now!

I received the Home Assistant Green earlier today (15/11) and have struggled to pull myself away from it during that time. It is one of the most compelling pieces of tech I've ever bought. I'd no experience of Home Assistant before today other than watching YouTube videos and wondering "could it really be that good?" Well the answer for me is a resounding "YES". To give some context I currently have the following devices in my house which I considered "smart" and likely to be discovered by Home Assistant: Philips Hue Bridge, Lights and Switch Reolink POE Doorbell (not HomeKit compatible) Tapo Camera's and Smart Plugs (not HomeKit compatible) The Hue devices and Reolink doorbell were discovered automatically while several other things were discovered I hadn't even considered like my Fritzbox Router (live stats in the dashboard!) and Printers (ink levels!). The Tapo Camera's and Plugs needed a community integration installed via the HACS Store (simple to figure out thanks to YouTube) but work seamlessly. At this point I was impressed but then I install the HomeKit Bridge and can now see my Reolink camera and Tapo Camera's and plugs in the Apple Home app. I mean come on thats just voodoo! I've now added the Octopus Energy integration and have my live Agile electricity rates available to use in automations... I've literally just scratched the surface and haven't automated anything yet. The hardware itself is very solid, weighty in fact. I'm really quite gobsmacked, not often something exceeds expectations these days. Only thing I would say is the tag line "The private and local smart home hub for everyone" is a laugh, although its UI is clean requires you to have nerd credentials to understand the concepts, no Joe Bloggs is configuring this thing out trust me. For nerds though, heaven.
