“I bought this to increase the access to real time data steams from my solar inverter and to that add all the home smart devices, from various manufacturers, onto one home screen. This has greatly imporved the access to real time information and using a tablet, gives a central point to set and monitor all aspects of heating, cooling and power around the home.
There is a ton of information and scripts available online to get the Home Assistant set up just as you want it, quickly and easily. Within one hour it was all configured and running sweetly.”

You need to be somewhat pi literate to wade easily thru the various pieces of code and routines to have a functioning HA.
