“Really pleased with with Home Assistant Green. Super easy to setup and configure and I'm glad I chose it over a Raspberry PI, simply to save myself some time.
Hardware feels robust and so far so good.”
“I’m pretty new to Home Assistant, but the Home Assistant Green has made getting started way easier than I expected. Plug it in, follow a few steps, and suddenly you’re staring at this dashboard thinking, “Oh wow… this can actually do a lot.”
I’m still finding my feet with it all, but it’s been fun learning how things fit together. The best part has honestly been the community—every time I’ve been stuck or unsure, someone’s jumped in with a friendly nudge in the right direction. No judgement, just helpful people who clearly love this stuff.
If you’re just getting into home automation and want something simple to start with, Home Assistant Green feels like a solid choice. I’m still learning, but I’m already enjoying the ride.”
“I have been running the HA Green in a hot and humid remote site that I visit rarely, now for almost two years and it has never failed me. The Home Assistant Green is designed to run uninterrupted. The large heat sink does justice to the HA Green, and with no moving parts I expect the system to run for many years to come. Temperature monitoring shows the SOC runs at maximum 39 degrees centigrade. I have another remote site running on Raspberry Pi5 8GB with temperatures ranging between 45 - 50 degrees centigrade (with Active Cooler running). But remember the Raspberry Pi5 has a fan that is more likely to fail earlier than the board. For buyers of HA Green get the Nabu Casa Zigbee Antenna (ZBT-2) and the Nabu Casa ZBT 1 for thread border router. Or get teh Sonoff Dongle Plus MG24, With such a combination you will never go wrong with the HA Green. PI Hut delivered as promised a product that I am fully satisfied with. If there were six stars I would have given them to both the HA Green and PI Hut,”
“Easy to set up (essentially plug in to power and a wired connection and get going. The assistant is nicely packaged and has all the ports necessary to connect additional accessories if needed. I found setting up Home Assistant a doddle.”
