Love this, it's nicely expanded the home NAS setup that I had which was very underpowered. I was trying to run HA, plus about five other Docker containers on the NAS under UNRAID, but it just wasn't working. Now I've moved them all over to the HA Green, and they're working great, plus I was able to add Nextcloud, which was a major hope. The reason I chose the Green though was because I wanted a "here's the keys" solution for a newbie, so I chose it over the Yellow for that reason.

The actual unit I have no problem with. Installation and configuration was straightforward and easy to follow and many of my devices were automatically loaded. I have spent some time on tutorials as I'm a novice to Home Assistant, and I will persevere. Unfortunately I have Blink and Tapo devices particularly cameras. It seems at present that these devices are not fully supported e.g no live view on Blink cameras and Tapo cameras are not recognised. This may be ignorance on my part and I will continue to investigate in the community. Hope it goes well

Very easy, quick, cool and quiet. Migrated my existing HA setup with ease. Was up and running in no time.

What smart home always promised - but not yet. Easy to set up and now have a unified interface to all the bits of technology around the house.

After considering various options to run Home Assistant in our house, including using a Rasberry Pi 5 or an Intel NUC or similar mini-PC (both of which do offer more flexibility and capability, but at a price and more complexity), I decided to go with Home Assistant Green to start my journey. I am using Home Assistant initisally to enhance my Tado and LightWave systems, and provide some integration between them that I had been doing with IFTTT (Tado are removing their IFTTT integration). The order from PiHut went really well, with quick delivery, and the initial setup and setting up of the basic automations was really quick and has gone well. I'm now looking at some more "interesting" enhancements to the automations which will help further optimise our heating and lighting.

Essential piece of kit, arrived in time and a very reasonable price paid.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. This was a super easy way to get into the world of Home Assistant. I was set up and running in no time. Now to watch far too many YouTube videos on how to make nice dashboards! The reason for buying is that I was fed up with multiple apps for my smart home devices and wanted everything in one place. Home Assistant Green made that super simple.

Easy to set up, but the scripting is a little confusing and some features like the browser didn't work out the box. Overall a quick way to get Home Assistant up and running.
