The included antenna has a great range, it's super easy to upload code to and fits just about anywhere. My new controller of choice.

The board is fantastic, small low power but lacks support in various Open source projects. Wanted to use it as an alternative to the classic ESP32 and hit a rock bottom with WLED and ESPHome. Hope it will get that so wanted support soon.

It’s small, it’s powerful enough, and it has USB-C. What’s there not to like? Great lil board for all your DIY IOT sensors and projects.

Great little device with a few caveats. 1. There's NO BUILT-IN LED, so save your time and don't bother running Blink! 2. At the time of writing (4 Mar 2023) there's a known issue with esptool. If you get an error message about "__REMOVE__" then the recommended work-around is to uninstall ESP32 devices in the boards manager, restart Arduino IDE, and re-install it. Worked for me. 3. The Bluetooth example on the Seeed Wiki for this device doesn't compile, but the WiFi example works fine.

I've rated this fice stars based on user experience / trying out a project on the device rather than just receiving it. To summarise with plus and minus points: ++ From get-go the device is supported (via ESP32 v6.x) both on Arduino / Espressiv IDF and (my choice) Platformio->Arduino. + The Arduino WiFi example works out-of the box. + The Arduino Bluetooth code works out-of-the-box. + Very low current sleep states. - Without the supplied antenna WiFi is pretty much useless unless it's right next to an access point. However, the supplied antenna is flexible and compact. With Bluetooth YMMV. - Upload speed isn't as fast as a Pico2040, but better than other ESP32 devices. - Single core at 160Mhz, but that may be all you need. With its form factor, out-of-the-box support and price this is one helluva device!
