A good remote but has a few issues. Firstly the current software libraries provided by argon in the website are out of date for libreelec. There are third party repos that fix this . Second the right push on the pad is super squishy.

A nice little remote to control kodi with, although one niggle is the clicky buttons. Turns out my TV remote works my Pi5 kodi box anyway, so not really necessary.

I bought this just to get the most from my Argon One V3 and Raspi 5. I have no doubt it is working well and it is a very stylish device. I got the power button to work as expected. However, although I explored all the set-up arrangements for the other buttons, there was no way to get them to do anything useful. I had hoped that they would work as a remote for most multi-media apps, but vlc, quadlibet and orange all ignored the remote buttons. It seems that it is only of value if you intend to dedicate your Pi4 or Pi5 to Kodi. There is no way to link the buttons to keystrokes on the keyboard, at present. So, only two stars. but it might be five stars with Kodi. I will hang on to the device in the hope that there is some way provided in the future to map buttons to keystrokes, especially mult-media keys.

Nothing wrong with the remote itself, it's lightweight and simple to use, however what lets it down is the positioning of the IR receiver within the Argon ONE case itself, as it doesn't work from any angle above the case! Also one quibble is that this requires 2x AAA batteries, not the AA size as advertised and recommended
