“Really great and cost effective bundle with everything that you need to get started with a retro style console project. As a complete beginner to the Pi I found it a fun project with plenty of advice online for setting up emulation station and now i'm excited to try and build other projects. “This is great value for money and easy to set up, although I would recommend recalbox over retropie. The controllers didn't seem that responsive at first but have got much better with a bit of use.”

“Really easy and simple to build. Shove the Pi in the case, download and flash the RetroPie operating system from https://retropie.org.uk/ using a PC or laptop, copy over some game ROM's into the ready-made directory structure on the Pi and you're good to go! Plenty of tutorials at the retropie website to look at if you get stuck, but it really isn't rocket science. Why pay £60-£100 for a mini NES or a Mega Drive when you can get about 50 different consoles rolled into one with this little fella? The controllers are great for that retro feel too, although they are maybe a little on the flimsy side; but all in all, a nice little package that will have you up and running in less than an hour”

“Bought the retropie package for my son's birthday and have had a great time setting it up and introducing him to the joys of 1980s chunky graphics. He's hooked, and now looking forward to writing his own games.”

“I brought this in place of buying the recent Nintendo NES package and I do not regret my decision. Although lacking the retro look of the Nintendo console this packs much more punch and can run games from many more playforms. Within half an hour of opening the box I was playing Mario and knew I had made the right purchasing choice. Now all I am searching for is more projects to run on Raspberry Pi's!”

“I bought this to make a retropie machine and a "steam link" it's working like a charm very fast wifi and bluetooth work verry well I'm so happy with this product I had the rasberry pi 1 and liked it the version 3 is WAY better I love it Thank you”
