“Can't knock the speed and service from the pi Hut and the pi runs retropie and recalbox well
All arrived well packed and I must confess I was quite excited about getting it all set up
The controllers come in some very fancy packaging but are terrible, look cheep and are only really any good for getting you set up I kind of wish I just got a basic kit now plus a black charger or a white case Might have been nice to see as an option as it's on display next to me TV
The case is nice and the Base has some screw holes that would be handy if you are planning to mount inside an arcade machine.
USB keyboard and will be something you're going to need and possibly a USB memory stick but you can send files over the network if you research it.
My advice is buy a basic kit from here or separate items and get some different controllers”
“The controllers are the weakest point. They look the part but they flex and feel too light (almost as if they were 3D printed). Everything else is great and was dead easy to get up and running. A fantastic (and way more interesting and versatile) alternative to a NES Classic Mini or one of those "retro" micro consoles.”

Controllers are pretty cheap though, don't have the precision required to master some of the more twitchy platformers.
After a couple of hours playing it really started to hurt my hand when doing the suriken jump on Revenge of Shinobi.
Easy to install Retropie and easy to put the kit together.
Might be worth looking into a power switch for the pi as that is probably one of the most annoying part of the pi.”
“Very easy to use lots of online guides YouTube especially helpful. I'm no computer wizard but got a retro gaming station up and running in no time also plenty of others things to do with such a user friendly board. Will be purchasing more in the future.
