Simple I2C Sensor. Perfect for my ESP32 Boat engine monitoring project

When this is working I get good temperatures. But I frequently get an error message and the programme terminates. It appears that the probe disappears and there is no data output so there is no data for the programme to find. A number of chats suggest this is a fault with the probe. Still trying to fix.

Connected two of these to a PI Zero W and they now read to temperature of my hot water tank, top and middle. On test one thermometer read about 0.8 degrees less than the other which is adjusted in the software. A C program reads from the 1-wire devices and post to an MQ server.

High quality and easily implemented. Came in a timely manner too. No Complaints!

The product works very well but does not match that shown on the picture. The metal ends were not exposed. I had to carefully peel off an inch of plastic from each wire to expose the metal connection which was tedious and time consuming.

The are very good sensors, forget the D11/22. However, very expensive and I paid a lot extra for a single resistor but I wanted them quickly to develop some software. Three more in the post from a very much cheaper source and also a bunch of pull-up resistors for about a quid. That's more like it! I doubt this review will see the light of day but I wrote it as it is.
