“I have a lovely Dell ultra sharp monitor,2013,the last year in which they did not put an HDMI port on ultra sharp monitors,I did not want to buy a new monitor,they are not at all cheap so I bought the best available VGA to Hdmi adapter .not the cheapest but a first class piece of kit including a speaker/headphones port,you get what you pay for if you deal with top suppliers and I have been delighted that it is as good as I hoped that it would be,it works exactly as expected and it is a delight to be able to connect to my recently purchased RP i 4 model B 4GB and enjoy the amazing performance of this exciting recent new model.Just a mention but that it also works just fine when connected to my KVM switch which uses PS/2 conections via a Y connecter which lets me use PS/2 connections on my RPi 4B”
