This is a nice solid case and well ventilated. It has one major shortcoming, and that is that once the microSD card is inserted into the Raspberry Pi, it sits so far into the case that it is virtually impossible to get out again. I had to use forceps. Similarly if misaligned when inserting it, it gets "lost" inside the case, requiring one to remove the circuit board or take the end off the case (4 screws for lid, and 2 screws for the end piece) to recover it.

The case is precisely machined and is quick and easy to assemble. There is a gap in the case by the gpio pins which would allow a ribbon cable to be fed out. Well ventilated and I’m guessing that the aluminium case while dissipate heat better than a plastic one. Overall it’s a very stylish case which is only let down by the fact that it’s difficult to extract the micro sd card - need to use tweezers

It's a case that has a professional look and feel to it. It has clean lines with a good painted finish. I am happy to have it on the shelf in plain sight.

Item was never send. Probably a hoax. Do not trust this firm, they are eager to get your money but do not reply on questions why ordered items were not send.

Nice sturdy aluminium case, easy to assemble and sufficient room for a slim fan & heatsink combo for the Pi. I've got a heatsink with fan in this case {purchased separately) running nice and quietly at 3.3v and consistently sits around 40°c under heavy load when emulating dreamcast or N64 + shaders. I also tested 5v, it's about 1°c cooler but with a significant increase in noise. The only real negative I have is that its impossible to access your micro SF card with fingers alone, you'll need a slim pair of tweezers or to dissasemble the case every time you want to remove this, so it loses one star for this alone.

Great, sturdy case to house my Pi. The metal feels like a definite upgrade from other plastic cases and the Pi remains well ventilated. The case also includes a small slot to the side for access to the GPIO pins provided you have some breadboard or otherwise suitably small cables on hand.

As stated in previous reviews, it is a nice case to have and good at protecting your SBC. Yes the recess of the SD card slot is a bit cumbersome but it is good to stop little fingers trying to remove it while in operation. My Pi4B is running at 60+ degrees and that is with a ceramic heatsink placed on the processors. What would be nice is 4 larger holes for the small Pi fan to keep it cooler while operating. It can be better if it was as summer heat would drive up the Pi core temperature potentially causing it to throttle. Now this is a minor problem with the Pi SBC's but adding a fan to the inside case pulling some cooler air over the board may make it run better in warmer days of operation. So for now, out with a drill to add the fan shim I have to keep it cooler than it is now which is a shame as the Pi case is quite good.
