“Pi is a little loose, as it is only secured with one screw at the corner. SD card is near impossible to access with the case assembled, and is easy to fall into the void beneath the Pi when installing, requiring a case disassembly to obtain it again.
However, this is a great quality case that fits a Pi 4 with POE+ hat, and the price is right!”
“This case is strong and easy to put together. You can block access to the SD card slot by turning one of the side panels upside down however I think this is only possible for those not using the SD card slot at all. With a card in there the screw holes don't line up unless you put it the correct way. Other than that this is a good looking and solid case. Highly recommended.”
“The case is quite nice in design with good ventilation with a lot of room to install a fan. The screw hole does not align all that well with the Pi4 which meant it was a painful installation which resulted in the sides of my Pi4 being scraped before I had a chance to use it. 3 is the highest I can give it considering the circumstances.”
“This is a nice solid case and well ventilated. It has one major shortcoming, and that is that once the microSD card is inserted into the Raspberry Pi, it sits so far into the case that it is virtually impossible to get out again. I had to use forceps. Similarly if misaligned when inserting it, it gets "lost" inside the case, requiring one to remove the circuit board or take the end off the case (4 screws for lid, and 2 screws for the end piece) to recover it.”
“The case is precisely machined and is quick and easy to assemble. There is a gap in the case by the gpio pins which would allow a ribbon cable to be fed out. Well ventilated and I’m guessing that the aluminium case while dissipate heat better than a plastic one. Overall it’s a very stylish case which is only let down by the fact that it’s difficult to extract the micro sd card - need to use tweezers”
“It's a case that has a professional look and feel to it. It has clean lines with a good painted finish. I am happy to have it on the shelf in plain sight.”
