“A great heat reduction solution for the Raspberry Pi 4, stops the Pi from slowing down, now I only use the noisy fan when overclocking or really intensive work.”
“No the fan shim will not fit this heatsink. The screws of the shim get in the way and the shim is too high to fit on the header.
It is likely that it can be modified but a normal small square heatsink + shim works fine which would be better than a passive solution if you are running the PI4 under load constantly.”
“Yes, this little heat sink, like so many others before it, reduce the heat. I was happy that it reduced the heat. What else can one ask for out of a heat sink.
Where is my review on the gaming system? $100 of worthless trash.”
“By itself only OK, but it more importantly provides the facility to fit a decent fan which really is very effective at keeping the temperature down (in my case”
“Was actually fitted while the pi was still running.
Not sure if it made any difference as I’m not advanced enough with how Raspbian work to see of there was any throttling or not.”
