By itself only OK, but it more importantly provides the facility to fit a decent fan which really is very effective at keeping the temperature down (in my case

Was actually fitted while the pi was still running. Not sure if it made any difference as I’m not advanced enough with how Raspbian work to see of there was any throttling or not.

Just take care not to peel off the double sided tape

Great device - does everything claimed of it - but: wi-fi sensitivity (hence broadband speed) is much lower than the model 3B+. If it was not for the fact that I now use a wired LAN connection I would have returned the Pi4 as unusable. From online investigation it seems I am not the only one to have had this problem.

Although popular wisdom is that bigger is better, this is large enough to be a tight fit and leaves me wondering about quality of contact. The adhesive has the appearance of being double sided tape rather than a thermal tape. As another reviewer has stated it might interfere with the camera and display connectors if these were to be used.

Bulky block, but comfortable fit on the board. Fits under a fan if you need belt and braces. Keeps the temp to well below 60C (and 30ish with a fan). Thought it might conflict with the GPIO pins, but there is enough room (just). Take care fitting it.
