“This is a just what I needed. The RPI is now firmly installed in this case and it works like a charm. However I had to remove 2 screws from the kit I received in order for the case to glide in. But that does not ruin the picture of a well running RPI

“Really good case with good construction, and for me good value, SD card access awkward but difficult to see how that could be avoided. Bought it with a "PD Power Extension Board for Raspberry Pi 5" from pihut as I wanted to use the Pi from a 12v lead acid battery. Bought with SmartiPi Touch 2 Back Cover Large (35mm) to cover everything.”
“For a nice simple case for your touch screen, it really works perfectly, it makes a neat and simple setup for your pi and gives you all of the cables for connecting your pi 3 and 4, it also comes with a lot of different trims to allow a camera to be easily integrated and the base comes with 4 holes for easy mounting to any project. The only downside I would say is it doesn't come with ribbons for the pi 5. Overall would recommend.”
“High class finish. Installation of Pi is easy The instructions could be more explicit in places and some of the accompanying photographs are blurred making the correct orientation of the ribbon cables problematic One of the photos is actually misleading as it shows a ribbon cable which is not installed until a later step.
The front escutcheon for a camera lens is too small to accomodate V3 camera modules (this is mentioned in the guide) V2 camera module is fine. Use of the "blank" back panel then the GPIO can only be used if the cut out is removed due to the height of the GPIO connectors and female headers.
In summary the best available screen and case - great for videoconferencing except for current camera non operability of Pi and Zoom or Teams”
“Frankly, purchased as the easiest way of obtaining a USB-C and Micro-USB splitter cable to tidy up my Pi-4 setup. It a good unit though allowing the Pi to be used as a mini desktop for experimentation and playing with the software. The only drawback is that the SD-card is inaccessible in use but the Pi itself is only clamped in place by the cover so don't let that put you off. Rapid delivery at a sensible price as always from The Pi-Hut.”
