“This is a sturdy and well-made case for the Raspberry Pi 4, the official touch-screen, and optionally a camera module. Because the hinges are GoPro-compatible, adding extra hinge parts between the base and the monitor-surround will let you extend its height and give it extra points of articulation, allowing for custom laptop builds, and all manner of other projects. An absolutely fantastic buy!”
“This chase makes for a absolute fabulous control box thing! Only minus I found when installing is that the shorter display cable provided is really short, shorter than in instructions and of course it got slipped loose on the display side - took some half day to find the problem and fix it...”
“Nice to finally have a decent case for my rpi4/7" touchscreen. Once you figure out how everything goes, it's nice. No instructions included. You have to look at their website to get the assembly tutorial. Otherwise I might have given 5 stars.”
“The Touch 2 case arrived on time and very well packed. It included several items that were not needed, as it can be used with different versions of the Pi.
Assembly was very well under way, when I decided to try it before final completion. No display at all. The reason was that I had found no mention of the four jumper wires included in the kit, and as there were power connections to both the Pi and the screen, I assumed that they were not needed. I had to do a fair amount of dismantling in order to attach them. Then everything worked.
The final problem was that there is not enough space for the ribbon cable that sits behind the door and fan assembly. RI was inable to get only one of the two clips that lock the door, to engage. Leaving the door off means no fan, which may not be too serious.
When completed, the case has a really smart appearance, and except for the above assembly problens, I am well pleased with it.”
“Very nice case. I bought it, with the official 7" touch screen, to build a piCorePlayer with a Pi3 I bought a year or so back.
Only negative, and the reason for the 4/5, is the instructions. They are not great. Otherwise this is a super solution. I especially like the lego pins. I'm sure they are /meant/ to be used for webcam mounts, but my 7 year old son had great fun planting his men on them.”
“Really nice case but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to set it up so I am able to change micro sd card without disassembly. Quite easy to build though. Guess you can solve the sd card access issue with an extension cable”
“So convenient! works perfectly with the offical display. Great for developing things on your desk that will later go elswehre, without having wires lying about.”
