“I bought the kit in order get a bit of that diy feeling and i am not sorry. There were about two hours spent doing a nice thing and it also looks cool. The only downside is that the script takes about 40% of my zero w's CPU”
“Easy solder and a nice PCB. Really liked the quality of the outcome. Also a great beginners project for soldering and using GPIO on the RPi. The only thing I've missed is schematics for the layout.

“I purchased the solder it yourself kit, nicely packaged and followed the online guide to assemble. I questioned the instructions concerning polarity of the leds on the two plugin boards but saw the etching of + and - on the boards and the clear marking of the photo. I feel the white led spot was printed on the reverse sides they should have been on but it soldered in just fine. I got the example code to run just fine but wish there was a posting of other sequence examples or a spot where folks could share what they're running. Runs ok on pi zero but better on the pi 3.”
