“I bought a trail cam for my mom with Bluetooth and WiFi for £50 It didn't work as intended so I decided to try and build one. I bought this kit and being a total novice presumed with a raspberry pi running it and a cost of £110 this would be the solution. After looking into it more the camera kit has the oldest possible raspberry pi and does not have WiFi or Bluetooth. So twice the price and I still have the same problem. The kit may be fine for someone learning to build a simple camera with 8 year old tech but not for use.”
“I am underwhelmed by this camera. I built one from Mynaturewatch.net for about 1/3 of the price and it performs much better. Photos overexposed which means sofware modification. Should work out of the box. It seems over engineered. Why not use a USB power bank ? Case catches are hard to open and supplied USB memory stick has been a problem from day 1.”
