“you just need a ir reciever and connect it to 3 gpio and it's all good. Why use a USB module when we have gpio, it's more expensive, more power comsumption, and you loose a usb port. An ir reciever can be found in any device that use an IR remote.”

“Hello, The concept of flirc is very interesting but the youth bug can spoil a use. Hoping that the manufacturers come out as soon as a version of drivers satble that the current drivers. Thank you.”

“Does exactly what I want in an easy way (mostly), worth EVERY £! Still a bit unpolished software though. Some initial crash after first install. Had problems setting it up at first until I found out the app lacked support for my Swedish keyboard so had to switch to English keyboard-set-up in Windows. No info within the app about the advanced options. Even though, I am very happy about my purchase. Using with a random old dvd-remote and XBMC atm.”
