Have to configure the device on a PC which I find disappointing , doesn't seem to allow more than 6 buttons to be configured , have to press a key twice to generate a single key on screen, went back to a wireless mouse. But then I found the whole KODI experience not really worth it , research what you think your buying.

Worked straight out of the box, and I had no problems installing and running the software on a Win 7 laptop. The only slight issue was that the first few remotes I tried (a cheap MCE one, and a couple of Hauppauge ones I had lying around) didn't operate smoothly. An old DVD remote worked fine. After a bit of Googling I discovered that some remotes toggle between two different codes for each button, so you have to record each button twice in the FLIRC setup program. I think the documentation should be more clear about the kind of issues you might come up against. Apart from that, very easy to use.

Works as advertised. Useful for enabling a computer for remote control, using with a Logitech Harmony remote.

Fast delivery, no problems to implement. I use it in a RPi installation for a audio streaming client with a Squeezebox solution and had no problems to get it up and running.

Perfect! I can reuse virtually any remote I got. Wouldn't want to miss this thing! Safe buy!

I use mine with a Logitech Harmony One & Kodi on a RASPI 2. Usefully there's already a profile for the Flirc device so setup is easy. However, it turns out the PageUp and PageDown commands actually result in LineUp & LineDown. After checking the FLIRC site+forum it's obvious this is a problem they're not in any hurry to fix. My workaround was to find two commands I wasn't going to need and bind those to the remote buttons using the Logitech config program. Then in Kodi I used the KeyMap Editor addon to change the actions associated with those commands to be PageUp and PageDown. Otherwise, absolutely no complaints.

At first I was not convinced, I plugged into my PC, got the programming software from FLIRC web site. I used a remote from my old ACRyan. My girlfriend could have programmed the remote. Super easy. Tempted to by another one now for my other Pi running Kodi.
