“I bought a USB wireless dongle discussed on the Raspberrypi.org forum and spent at least two days in frustration at its poor performance, blaming myself for my incompetence and lack of familiarity with the OS and the required software. I then bought this dongle from the PiHut. It works out of the box with no issues. No need for additional drivers, no fuss, no time wasting. If you are struggling with a different product, put it in the physical recycling bin or give it to someone with more time on their hands and buy one of these. I actually have two.
I use them at home and also when working with students where I want to encourage them to use their Smartphones to login to their RPis to see how remote support works in the world outside school. For this type of work, total reliability is essential - my credibility as a teacher/ facilitator is on the line.”
