“I have 2 raspberry-pi, and I bought 2 WiFi dongles.
I updated Raspbian, plugged and it worked :)
Now almost no cables for the r-pis.
I use wicd-curses to configure the wifi.
One of the raspberries tends to reboot when plugging/unplugging USB devices, and sometimes it won't detect one of the dongles. After some googling, it seems to be a know issue on this device, so, no big deal.”
“The adapter worked straight out of the box. Working with it in close proximity I found on ssh that the connection was unstable and paused often. Environment Cisco WASR40000N business router. Don't have enough technical information on the product. Does it support AP mode?”
