Didn't really work "out of the box" with raspbian as advertised.

I found this simple to use (plug it in) and easy to configure for XMBC and Raspian on my Pi. Does what it says on the tin, enables wifi on my Pi so I'm happy as its another cable off the desk and I can now move the Pi around the house easier.

I've tried for the past hour and a half to get this working. I have a totally fresh install of Raspbian as recommended and although I can connect to my router I don't get an IP address. Quite frustrated.

I have 2 raspberry-pi, and I bought 2 WiFi dongles. I updated Raspbian, plugged and it worked :) Now almost no cables for the r-pis. I use wicd-curses to configure the wifi. One of the raspberries tends to reboot when plugging/unplugging USB devices, and sometimes it won't detect one of the dongles. After some googling, it seems to be a know issue on this device, so, no big deal.
