My experience has been one of the worse so far. I purchased Reference 4 with the MIC but apparently, there was a software bug with Windows 10 and I final steps of the software recognizing the MIC positions wouldn't work. After waiting for 3 weeks to hear back from support, nothing was resolved as they typically respond with automated FAQ. After a couple of days, someone responded and recommended I try installing SoundID trial instead, and if it worked, they would upgrade my license. Believe it or not, the trial worked after the third try using signal C. I replied back to support with good news and heard nothing back regarding the upgrade as it promised to me. I sent about 5 emails until the person who helped me responded asking for my account email which is odd because they had all of that information in the ticket. I replied back shortly and no response for weeks. I created a new ticket and one of the staff named MARTA closed all of my tickets without responding. I found this to be extremely rude and very poor customer service. I messaged them on Facebook out of frustration and the first person who helped responded asking if he can help me. I caved and purchased the upgrade because Reference 4 and the MIC we basically useless and I was tired of waiting over 3 months to get help. I don't think I will recommend Sonarworks to anyone in my community.

could not get systemwide to work on my 64 bit win pc running cubase pro 11, two drivers were greyed out which the ones recommended by tech support (APO & Wasapi) then I read in a thread that sound ID does not work with many RME cards - I have 9632AOIe . Support gave me a refund so good service there. I still yearn for system wide in my studio but will have to plod on with Ref4 for a while longer.

So far it's pretty good. I miss the early 70's curve on the output, I loved that when I just used my machine for casually listening, and I was pretty bummed that I missed the sale by 3 days. I put in a ticket like the sale ad said, but never heard back.

The new SoundID Reference doesen't work well on my System. Systemwide doesn't work at all in any mode or work for some pretty short time with audio dropouts and resets it self then. And if the software is running it causes audio dropouts and cracking sounds. The old Reference rund much better on my system. It caused sometime also some audio dropouts, but it was not so often. This is by far the best room correction and headphone correction system there is, it's just very user friendly and does the job extremely well.

System wide does not work half of the time... Need to manual switch (sys prefs) from UAD to reference a few times before it "sticks" If I start studio one it stops working completely, have to use the plugin version inside Studio One
