“Honestly I was disappointed with Referance 4. It was a lot of problems when I started software it sometimes connected and other times not. I really newer got friends with Reference 4 and quit using it.
With this upgrade to SoundID it works much better! More stable and consistent. I enjoy the different speaker emulations and the updated GUI.
But I do sometimes get no sound out from my UAD sound card. If I restart SoundID it normally fixes the problem. If that worked flawlessly I would give 5 ⭐️.”

“For me it feels like milking the customer. There are no real changes besides the better mix check, a custom EQ and the sliders for range of the the correcton (all features that i don't need and never will use). In my opinion this changes could have been done by normal updates.
Things for a real change would be ultra low latency or impulse correction.
Don't get me wrong. This software is fine but the Reference 4 was as good as this for me.”
