“Since upgrading I can an issue on startup which causes system audio to break up, I have to quit the app and relaunch.
I then have to go to sound preferences and switch between my internal iMac speakers and then my UA Apollo interface, launch SoundID reference again to resolve.”
“It was difficult to match that purchase from Sonaworks 4 to a Sound ID reference, but in the end it worked out. The old code from Reference 4 must be entered first and then the new code from the purchase. Otherwise satisfaction.”
“Using Windows 10, the upgrade from Reference 4 is not working. Lots of crackling and popping noise. Response from support has been good, but no resolution to the issue yet. Upgraded because I really like the results when it works, but Reference 4 still has it's issues when moving back and forth between the DAW, and other programs which use different sample rates. Disappointed that the new update didn't resolve these issues.”
“Sonarworks is a great product , using the software has helped me with getting my mixing to translate . I'm giving 3 stars out of five because the only reason I upgraded to sound ID reference is to get better drivers for my win 10 daw . nothing has changed . I can't even view sonar works tutorial videos . I have to use a different interface without sonarworks engaged to view any media . I'm very disappointed !”
