Excellent concepts and ideas. I was upgraded from Reference 4 Studio finally. I was waiting a long time (a few months) for a stable version, that ultimately works on my system (one of the known cases You can read about @Google), taking me a lot of time for testing, reinstalling, trying,... The product improves constantly, it's obvious, but still tends to be slightly immature (it "forgets" configuration settings sometimes, calibration goes off but shows it's active after some time (switch to other profile and then back helps), a break of the USB connection results in a systemwide app crash, ...). 4 stars because of many tech problems at first try (probable lack of SoundID testing on enough different configurations). But overall - great value for the money on the road to be much better than Reference 4 when grows up :) Recommend highly, I hope mentioned issues are just hiccups without future showstoppers :)

The individual curve in the new version is useful for home listening, while I measured again in the studio with the new Id version and got an even better result.

I was sceptical of upgrading from Reference 4, but SoundID's translation feature made me glad I did.

Being able to use it as a simulated audio device instead of having it as a problem is a huge time saver, and you never forget to turn it off (because you don't have to). Also the calibrations of bad spaces etc helps to simulate other devices brilliantly. Also the m1 support works wonders. Defiantly worth the money!
